Free Medical Camp and Inauguration The inaugural function of Kinnera Memorial Trust was held on December 30, 2001 at Mopidevi Village of Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. In our initial health camp held on the same day to identify the children ailing with serious illnesses, about ten expert Medical Practitioners from various places participated and identified, among others, more than half a dozen children, who are having serious heart problems in that small village. At the inaugural meeting in the village several local and some State leaders participated and spoke about the objectives of the Trust and necessity to have many more similar trusts to meet the acute shortage of health care for the children.

2nd anniversary of the trust held at Vijayawada On January2, 2002 at a large gathering attended by the local Doctors and other intellectuals at Vijayawada City, eminent speakers lauded the objectives of the Trust and explained about the dearth of the health services in the country and necessity of having similar Trusts to serve the children coming from disadvantaged families.
